After owning my new DSLR for approximately 1 and a half weeks now, I've really gotten into enjoying taking photos when ever I get the chance. Although I started using the auto mode then I tried different modes.
Been watching many different videos on youtube for advice and basics of DSLR's, and reading many websites every night to try sink the basics of Aperture, Shutter speed and ISO in. In the different modes I started to play around with those 3 and some shots I found were ok others were absolutely horrible!!
Today I went near the ocean shore to take shots of the sunset and tried using the Aperture and Shutter priority modes which I loved and got a hand of it reasonably fast (well for the basics anyway).
After quite a lot of shots, I decided to trial Manual mode and I feel some what comfortable with using it more often now as I'm starting to understand the basics a lot more. I definitely need a bigger memory card I've found as I've been clearing it after every photoshoot I go out on but today I almost filled it ( I have 8GB).
Will be uploading Manual mode later tonight.
Thought that crossed my mind, is to get a paper journal to keep ideas and tricks I've learnt in it as a memory curve and reminder...
